Get to Know Our New colleague – Martin lindgren Carlsson

Martin Lindgren Carlsson has recently joined Dotkeeper as a Technical Product Manager.
He leads our Tech & Development department and ensures that we deliver the best possible technical solutions, both internally and externally.

What are you most looking forward to in your new role as Technical Product Manager at Dotkeeper?

I’m most looking forward to improving and simplifying processes for my colleagues, but above all, helping our customers manage their digital assets more efficiently. Technology should always simplify things – never create problems.

Can you tell us what sparked your interest in working with technical development and coding?

It all started with TV and computer games. The idea that just a few lines of code could make a computer generate new worlds was incredibly appealing. I never became particularly skilled at making games, but I quickly discovered the beauty of coding, and my hobby of “problem-solving” soon became my biggest passion.

Is there a particular challenge or development opportunity within the Domains Portal that you’re excited to tackle?

I see many development opportunities, but if there’s one area I’m especially eager to focus on, it’s performance. I think about performance from two perspectives:

  1. The Domains Portal should be a fast platform with minimal loading times.
  2. The Domains Portal should be an efficient tool where users can complete tasks quickly. It should be easy to understand and simple to manage all aspects of digital assets. Fast and secure!
Since you’re a fan of games, we have to ask: If you were to plan a game night with your colleagues, which games would top the list?

I always try to choose games based on the audience. Since I’m new to the job, I’d go for games that help me get to know my colleagues better. At the top of the list is Wavelength—a game where two teams try to get on the same “wavelength” and read each other’s minds. It’s quick, easy to learn, and a lot of fun!

Welcome to the team Martin!
